STEM at Lake Como Design Fair

Stem, our infinity system presented during the latest Salone del Mobile and designed by Philippe Nigro, is one of the projects selected for the second edition of Lake Como Design Fair, scheduled from the 20th to the 22nd of September.

The event, established and curated by Margherita Ratti, exceeds the border between fair and exhibition, gathering those in love with design and architecture in the same event. After its successful debut, it returns for its second edition with a selection of design pieces at Como’s Social Theatre with a new section, entirely dedicated to architecture, at Broletto Palace.

This year’s subject is colour, with the aspiration to swarm the Ridotto rooms of Como’s Social Theatre with all its chromatic gradiations of the most contemporary design projects.
In the exihibition there are 150 pieces, selected to sum up new complementarities, new intuitions and independent creative processes. This path will mirror current freedom of taste and aesthetics.
Stem project is a clear example of this: a reflection about an optimized system for archive and intended for workspaces but also suitable for domestic environments.
It an architectural system, where the modularity of the elements allows it to develop both in height and length like a construction game that frees your imagination to arrange and create equipped spaces on the basis of our needs.
The Stem bookcase in the exhibition has uprights in blue/green solid wood oak and horizontal connecting beams in polished aluminium. Structural shelves are in oak finish and containment elements in matt lacquered lobster colour.
