The Undecided system selected by ADI

The UNDECIDED system by Manerba has been selected by the ADI Design Permanent Observatory for the ADI Design Index 2019, the annual publication that gathers the best produced Italian design. Undecided thus applies to the Compasso d’Oro ADI 2020 award for the “design for work” category – the most prestigious award for the productive and design quality of Italian design goods, services, processes and systems.

Designed by Raffaella Mangiarotti and Ilkka Suppanen, Undecided is the ideal system for work spaces in continuous redefinition: not only offices, but also cafeterias, hotel or museum lobbies, home offices, contemporary banks. The multiple available versions – swivel and non-swivel armchairs, two-place and three-place sofas, low, medium or high backrests – create reserved conversation spaces that are both elegant and informal, comfortable and acoustically isolated, characterizing environments with colour and the softness of the forms.

Undecided – in the high swivel chair version upholstered with FiftyShade by Rubelli technical fabric – is exhibited at the ADI Design Index 2019, until October 20 at the National Museum of Science and Technology “Leonardo da Vinci”, in Via San Vittore 21. And from November 22nd in Rome at the Casa dell’Architettura, Acquario Romano in Piazza Manfredo Fanti 47.
