Manerba for the Luce e Gas Italia Headquarters

The Manerba Colour Project for the Luce e Gas Italia HQ by Hom Architetti

The interior design project for the new headquarters of the young and vibrant energy company Luce e Gas Italia S.p.A., based in Turin, has just been completed by Hom Architetti, in collaboration with Manerba. The new HQ is situated within the iconic Centro Piero della Francesca business centre, on Corso Svizzera, Turin. For this innovative electricity and natural gas provider operating in the free market — known for its dynamic team and increasingly forward-thinking services — the architects designed interiors with two distinct yet harmoniously connected identities.

The distinctive colour pairing of terracotta and blue was chosen to evoke the company’s two core areas of activity, as also represented in its logo. In the lounge areas, designed for welcoming guests and moments of relaxation, as well as in the executive offices and meeting rooms, the combination of brick red and Klein blue emerges as the project’s signature aesthetic. This stylistic identity is evident from the flooring itself, where the alternating use of terracotta carpet tiles and Klein blue PVC clearly defines the boundaries between different work zones.

The vibrant walls, painted in bold Klein blue, are perfectly coordinated with the metallic profiles of the Wallsystem partition system, featuring large transparent glass panels. To achieve complete harmony between the setting and the furnishing, the Musa lounge chairs by Manerba, along with the armchairs and sofas from the Kokoro collection, have been upholstered in terracotta and matched with the fabric of the Easy Chair seats, which feature padded seats and backrests. The Revo meeting tables were chosen in matte black, echoing the finish of the chairs and the bases of the upholstered pieces.

For the more operational areas, subtler tones were chosen, with references to the two primary colours used as accents throughout the space — for example, in the divider screens of the white K-Word desks, in the upholstery of the ergonomic Lia chairs, and the Unibox drawer units.

This project fully embodies the value of Manerba’s Progetto Colore — a design philosophy that surpasses mere aesthetics, becoming a creative means to shape spaces that are coherent, expressive, and bespoke. Colour is not just decoration; it is language and identity. The design sensitivity of Hom Architetti found Manerba to be the ideal partner to meet the expectations of a client seeking vibrancy and personality in their working environment.
