K_word ottiene il Good Design Award 2010

After the Award received for the executive collection named Revo, Manerba has received again the Good Design Award from the Chicago Athenaeum of Modern Art and Design, thanks to K-word an operative collection designed by Giovanni Giacobone + Massimo Roi (progetto CMR).

The Good Design Award originated in Chicago in 1950, thanks to Edgar J. Kaufmann Jr., with the participation of several of the greatest designers of those years: Eero Saarinen, Charles and Rey Eames, Alexander Girard, George Nelson, Florence Knoll, Harry Bertoja, Finn Juhl, and Russel Wright. The Museum of Architecture and Design of the Chicago Athenaeum, one of the most prestigious American cultural institutions, assigns this Award every year.

A jury made up of famous and important American designers selected Revo from among hundreds of products, following precise criteria of judgement: innovation, form, material, functionality, and utility. K-word joins Revo in the Museum’s permanent collection.
