\"\"Manerba Spa is pleased to announce its role as the technical sponsor of the installation “Not for Her<\/i>“, a project by the Politecnico di Milano, which is part of the 24th International Exhibition “Inequalities”, taking place at Triennale Milano from 13 May to 9 November 2025.<\/p>\n

Inequalities<\/i> is a collective project that, through exhibitions, installations, special initiatives, and events, explores global challenges linked to the various forms of disparity that characterise human existence \u2013 from economic and ethnic differences to geographical origin and gender.<\/p>\n

The installation Not for Her<\/i> is situated on the second floor of the Triennale building. It aims to explore the boundary between what is perceived and what lies beneath the surface, harnessing AI’s potential to reveal the silent barriers shaping how we live, work, think, and act. It invites us to see what has escaped our attention for too long\u2014hidden in plain sight since childhood, normalised to the point of invisibility.<\/p>\n

\nThe installation unfolds in two complementary phases. The first is a collective, immersive, shared experience: visitors are invited to relax on a Kokoro<\/a> sofa, paired with a laptop table from the same collection, and participate in a video installation. This multimedia triptych prompts a shared reflection on gender discrimination.<\/p>\n

Next, visitors are guided into a more intimate and personal dimension by passing through a visual gradient designed to reveal the filters of their own perceptual and cognitive biases. In this second phase, the visitor engages in a fictional job interview with an Artificial Intelligence system, directly experiencing gender dynamics and inequalities. The AI interaction adapts in real time to the user\u2019s words, emotions, and micro-facial movements, making every experience unique. This sophisticated system derives from interdisciplinary research that involves experts in gender studies, philosophy, human resources, design, and theatre.<\/p>\n

The decision to support this cultural initiative is fully aligned with Manerba\u2019s \u201cBe Human<\/a>\u201d vision\u2014a long-standing commitment to an innovative and inclusive business model that prioritises design, sustainability, and individual well-being. In line with this commitment, the company has recently begun obtaining Gender Equality Certification under the UNI\/PdR 125:2022 guidelines. Manerba actively promotes diversity and inclusion across all its activities, rejecting any form of direct or indirect discrimination based on gender, sexual orientation, disability, nationality, religious belief, or any other personal characteristic.<\/p>\n
