Manerba furnishes the Fondazione Venezia Capitale Mondiale della Sostenibilità at Procuratie Vecchie

The 500 square metres of operational and executive offices of the Fondazione Venezia Capitale Mondiale della Sostenibilità, overlooking Piazza San Marco and located in the historic structure of the Procuratie Vecchie, reopened after a complex recovery work by Studio David Chipperfield Architects, is fully furnished in our collections. In the beautiful spaces of the Foundation’s headquarters, enriched with frescoes and wall decorations, the TA Torsello Architettura design team in Venice, led by the Architect Alberto Torsello, worked to refurbish, or reveal the traces of the past.

In the large council room, the heart of the Foundation, the precious frescoes on the ceiling are reflected on the long rectangular and wired “Revo” table with a glossy white tempered glass top. “Revo” is surrounded by enveloping “Vogue” armchairs on wheels covered with a neutral sugar paper-coloured fabric. The “Revo” tables are present as well in the welcoming offices of the presidency and management, in the versions with round blue lacquered back planes and chrome legs, always matched with “Vogue” sugar paper-coloured armchairs with a contemporary taste in contrast with the classicism of the rooms. In the dusty tones of blue, there are also sofas and armchairs of the “Kokoro” Meeting & Seating system by Federica Biasi. For the operating areas, a series of “K-word” stations in total white were selected with partition screens padded in light blue-coloured sound-absorbing fabric, combined with ergonomic “Lia” seats with a light grey-coloured structure and “UniBox” drawers on white wheels, to restore brightness to the work environments.

The setting up of the Fondazione Venezia Capitale Mondiale della Sostenibilità at the Procuratie Vecchie with the Manerba design collections once again confirms the company’s industrial capacity to deal with large-scale contract furniture projects and supplies, with the same care and expertise inherent in tailor-made projects. The chromatic choices and the materials used give a very elegant creation to these precious and unique spaces in the heart of Venice.
